Discover the Mystery of the Rhubarb Triangle in this lovely little three day break. Wakefield - Leeds - Morley - these form the Rhubarb Triangle, and the plant has been an important part of the local economy for over 150 years. Friday we travel first to Leeds to enjoy some retail therapy, or perhaps visit a Museum. The time here will be free to enjoy as you please. From here we travel to our hotel in Wakefield. Saturday it is time to visit the Rhubarb Farm to see the unbelievable sight of rhubarb growing indoors in the dark, out of season, using only the plants natural requirements for growth. If you listen carefully, you might just hear it growing! After our visit here we travel back to Wakefield where the Rhubarb Festival is taking place. The Festival includes Street entertainment, cookery demonstrations from top Yorkshire Chef's, the Yorkshire Market, plus lots lots more! What are you waiting for? This is a lovely little break.
